Join us for Kesher Pittsburgh's Yom Kippur gathering!

Abbreviated shacharit musical morning prayers followed by a reflective (and gentle) walk-and-talk in Frick Park focused on the theme of teshuvah (return). With elements of prayer, learning, small group sharing, reflection and silence, together we'll find our way to presence on this day of at-one-ment.

*This gathering is suitable for all ages though it may not be a great fit for those who aren't up for walking or being outside for an extended period of time.

And then...

As the gates close on Yom Kippur, we'll reconvene near the entrance of the Park to reflect on our day in a prayerful, engaged and embodied way...and then we'll have a mega-havdallah to end the day!

We are transgenerational and everyone-friendly! This means that all people who wish to attend are welcome, and wanted, regardless of age, race, lineage, faith path (or lack thereof), political persuasion, gender-identification, sexuality, Belief in G-D, or stance on Israel/Palestine.

We strive to be allies and accomplices to the LGBTQ* community as well as People of Colour, Indigenous people and other marginalized communities.

Because being outside can help us to awaken and enliven, and it's the perfect sanctuary in which to return - to ourselves, to our hearts and to each other. Let's strengthen ourselves, our relationships and our community by engaging in teshuvah together!

10:00am Shacharit morning prayers (near the Park entrance)
10:30am Walk-and-talk begins (in the park)
*Those who arrive after 10:30am may not be able to find/join us.

All are welcome and nobody will be turned away from our gatherings for financial reasons...and there are costs associated with organising our events. By contributing, you are not only making our HHD gatherings possible, you are lifting up our community and helping to make us viable throughout the year!
